3rd Station - Jesus falls the first time
2nd Station Stations of the Cross 4th Station
At the Third Station, we see Jesus collapsing under the crushing weight of the Cross. This fall is not a sign of weakness but a profound revelation of His solidarity with our humanity. Jesus accepts the full burden of our sins, our failures, and our limitations, allowing Himself to experience exhaustion, pain, and vulnerability. In this moment, He shows us that holiness does not mean never falling—it means rising again, trusting in the Father’s love, and continuing the journey even when everything feels heavy. His first fall invites us to bring our own struggles to Him, with the confidence that He understands, He accompanies, and He strengthens us every time we rise with Him.
